Home cinema: common questions
Not necessarily. Home cinemas are increasingly popular feature rooms, with rooms comfortably converted from around 20sqm and up.
Provided all services are already in the room, a full custom cinema build takes approximately 2 to 6 weeks to manufacture and install, depending on scope and design work. An equipment-only installation is typically completed in under 7 days.
Complete home cinema rooms with ANR Media start from R550,000, including seating and luxury finishing. A Starter package covering room treatment, sound and video only (no seating) is available from R350,000 as an upgradable entry point. Our top-tier Signature package starts from R750,000. Fully bespoke rooms are quoted individually after a consultation.
The Starter package (from R350,000) covers room acoustic treatment, sound and video only — no seating. The Complete Cinema Room (from R550,000) is a full luxury build with seating included. Starter clients can upgrade into a Complete Room later.
Yes. We’re based in Meyerton and our core service area is greater Gauteng — Johannesburg, Pretoria, Sandton, Centurion and the Vaal Triangle — but we complete custom cinema installations nationwide across South Africa.
Demo slots are reserved for serious clients: you need a dedicated cinema room in mind, a minimum budget of R250,000, and about an hour to fully experience what we offer.
